Absolutely Whootie is a collection of stories and tales from around the world.The stories teach a value to the children. A great place to print out a story and ask some comprehension questions to ensure careful reading.

Aesop's Fables on line is a great place to electronically read these stories.

Baby-Sitters' Club Page What's happening at the Baby-Sitters' Club? Visit this site to learn about the characters and their adventures.

Judy Blume's Home Page gives the reader a description of all of Judy Blume's books, an interesting biographical sketch with great pictures, and ideas of great books to come.

Eduplace is the site from Houghton Mifflin that provides great ideas for children.

ESL Quiz Center gives you practice on grammar, history, writing skills, and much more. Just answer the questions and submit your responses for immediate grading on-line.

Giggle Poetry is such a great site for very cute poetry.

Grammar 101 is an online grammar course for students from middle school through high school..

Haiku Garden provides haiku examples of all sorts.

Interactive English Language Exercises gives the students six sets of exercises in language skills. The exercises are critically graded and give reasons for the grades. This is great site!

 Laura Ingalls Wilder's Page is a great place to spend hours learning about life in the frontier. This is a great spot for lovers of this author's work. The page shows photos of the setting for each book along with detailed information about the location. It even gives ideas for writing papers on her life and books.
